I (Hailey, hello!) created Legends From History as a place to share some of my favorite episodes from history. I’ve always loved history and I’ve always loved to talk people’s ears off about it. After earning my Bachelor’s in history from UC Berkeley and entering the work force as a professional writer, I missed the learning environment of school. I found that my knowledge of history was itching to grow and to be shared. So, here is my personal blog. I really do believe that history makes us better people. Humans are strange and there has been so much human strangeness over the course of history that I think we can’t truly understand ourselves without exploring it.  So, this blog is my contribution to the study of the mysterious, wonderful, tragic, and truly bizarre phenomenon known as the human experience.
